Mission Statement

Our mission is defined by core values for users and senders. These core values are of equal importance; Both are required to achieve our mission.

Global values:

  1. To be participative advocates of spam reduction.
  2. To accept that we function in a dynamic environment and to make changes, proficiently and methodically, as required.
  3. To always realize that other DNSBLs and their administrators are professional colleagues and not competitors.
  4. To be open to criticism and suggestions as a means of quality improvement.
  5. To consistently improve our processes, sense of mission and service delivery.

Users:

  1. To filter spam efficiently and effectively.
  2. To incrementally and consistently improve quality with increased detection and decreased false positives.
  3. To increase utilization by server administrators and end users.

Senders:

  1. Recognizing that the removal system is a key component of quality management, to remove expired and incorrect listings courteously and promptly.
  2. To apply our listing standards consistently and uniformly.
  3. To utilize quarantines as an incentive to secure servers — not as punishment.
  4. To educate, where possible, with respect to best practices, DNS configuration and SMTP implementation.
  5. To recognize that many senders are more experienced and know ledgable than we are and to learn from them whenever possible.

We welcome your comments and suggestions.
