Dynamic Zone Audit
Phase 3 of 5 has now been completed. We have resolved four hosts within each C class range that we have listed. These hosts were then parsed by a script and ultimately examined by human eyes. We then tuned this to the first and last 128 IP addresses of each 256 address block. This has resulted in the removal of 615,936 IP addresses (or about 1.3%) from the dynamic zone.
Particular thanks to volunteers Deb Feldman and Jason Epstein for their potential loss of both vision and sanity in their tireless persuit of accuracy.
The project resumes on 15 December. In the interim, you can help by nominating dynamic ranges that we are not listing. Please use the contact form.
